Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps Performance in Sweden Q3 2021

The third quarter of 2021 showcased interesting performance trends for the top 5 maps and navigation applications in Sweden, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Skippo Sweden saw a peak in weekly revenue at approximately $79K in mid-July, before experiencing a steady decline to around $7.1K by the end of September. Weekly downloads followed a similar pattern, reaching 6.4K in mid-July and tapering off to 701 by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 4.6K in mid-July and gradually decreased to about 1.8K by the end of September.

WeHunt displayed a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting from $4.3K at the end of June and peaking at nearly $59K in early September. Downloads rose steadily throughout the quarter, starting at 284 and reaching 1.2K by the end of September. Active users also showed growth, beginning at 469 and increasing to 954 by the end of the quarter.

Ultracom NEXT experienced a notable rise in weekly revenue, beginning at $279 at the end of June and hitting a high of approximately $13.9K by the end of August. Weekly downloads saw a similar upward trend, starting from 121 and peaking at 861 by the end of August.

Navionics® Boating had its highest weekly revenue at $8.5K in mid-July, followed by a gradual decline to about $1.3K by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked at 770 in mid-July and decreased to 192 by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a decrease, starting from 925 at the end of June and dropping to 497 by the end of September.

Seapilot had its highest weekly revenue of approximately $14.1K in mid-July, which then gradually decreased to around $2K by the end of September. Weekly downloads started at 352 at the end of June and fell to 98 by the end of the quarter.
